The Level 3 International Award in Food Safety is a comprehensive qualification designed to impart essential knowledge and skills for ensuring food safety. This course prepares learners to identify and manage potential hazards to prevent food-related illnesses, spoilage, customer complaints, and food recalls. Learners will also study the roles and responsibilities of supervisors, prerequisite programs, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) systems.

Participants will gain expertise in managing various risk factors associated with food safety, including temperature abuse, ineffective processing and cooling methods, storage practices, thawing techniques, and contamination risks (microbiological, allergenic, chemical, and physical). Additionally, the course emphasizes promoting good staff hygiene practices.
